I went to the movies with Nik, Max and Jess
Max decided we should see the movie Sucker Punch
So that's what we watched..
It was..
Interesting..?
Its about all these girls who are locked in this prison-like place where they dance and dress like strippers. But then, they find a way to unlock their freedom through Baby Doll (blonde girl aka Emily Browning). Using dancing as a distraction, they steal four items that will help them escape. Unfortunate events happen along the way (which I won't say for those who really want to see this movie) and eventually only one escapes with a weird twist at the end. Plus all of them had really messed up names like Baby Doll, Rocket, Sweet Pea, Blondie and Amber (only normal one..?)
For those who like shoot 'em up movies and strippers with weapons, you'll most definitely like this movie.
Honestly I thought the effects were good, but there was WAY too much slow motion. Plus I wish the costume changes were a little more original
Because that girl was in like 3-4 different versions of a school-girl costume, and it weirded me out.
High point in the movie = the music was pretty amazing
So, in conclusion, it was good, though weird, and made me a bit dizzy in the theatre
I give it a 3 out of 5 ^-^v
