Fourth of July Celebration

Hello! I've finally uploaded my pictures to my laptop so here we go :D

Starting on July 3rd!
It has been so hot! It's hard to keep matte skin x-x

I painted my nails based on Michelle Phan's 4th of July video. I added ChinaGlaze Techno to the tips through to make it pop a bit more. It was really difficult since I had to take a detailing brush from a different nail polish, but it ended up working great. But me being the greatest person in the world while they were drying I nudged my first finger (which I was trying to hide) and had to redo the next day.

In the evening, Nik, my father, his girlfriend and her family went to the fireworks at the high school. Nik and I tried to meet up with Abi and Eric but we couldn't find them so we just sat down and enjoyed the fireworks.
So here are the firework pictures that turned out!

The bright circle beneath the firework was the moon, it was so pretty as a backdrop!

The smoke was so heavy! I'm glad we weren't sitting in that direction

The next day was the real Fourth of July, which is also my grandmother's birthday. So we were off to her house!
I attempted to be festive, but since I don't really have red clothing, I had to substitute for pink

Father was also festive!

It was a nice quiet party with not too much drama. Plus our family friend who lives in San Francisco came to visit!

In the evening, we heard the loudest things ever. What was it?
The neighbors kiddy-corner behind us apparently went to Wisconsin, and got the BIGGEST FLUFFING FIREWORKS THAT YOU SHOULD REALLY NOT BE LIGHTING SO CLOSE TO TREES AND HOUSES.
Despite this, my parents and I stood in our driveway to watch, when they'd stop my parents started yelling "MORE! MORE! MORE!" and they got what they wanted..

It was so interesting to be so close to fireworks that large.
Anyway I hope you had a lovely, fun, and safe Fourth!

Little Projects of December and Early January

Hello ~
I've been up to a few projects (which may or may not be apart of my lack of posting)

The weekend of December 17th, Nik, Abi, Mother and I went up to a cabin in Motley for Christmas baking!

Abi was enjoying the cool breeze on the way there ~
Nik and I in the front seats, wooooo

Abi and mother in the back ~

The three of us in matching onesies, like the winners we are.. ♥
 Delicious looking dough..

Chocolate covered pretzels ~ so yummy ~
Three different kinds of biscotti ~

Peanut butter mice ~ So yummy!

Looking through the window, where you see the horizon of the land, is actually about a 85 degree, 50 foot drop that Nik and I hiked up and down. Felt so beast-like after that!

 The deck ~
Nik and I in the kitchen, woooo ~

Project two!

Mother and I made bakable clay items that we're going to make into refrigerator magnets ~
 Look it's an Abi!

Project three!

I learned about water-marbling for nail designs
This was my favorite one that had turned out :D

Project four!

I did a mini drawing project for my school's literary magazine
This will be one of the dividers for the magazine this year

And that's pretty much it ~
Okay bye ~ ♥

PinkyParadise haul♥

A couple weeks ago I decided to look at PinkyParadise's summer offer
Which is 2 lenses (with cases), travel case, 2 face masks, DollyWink nail polish, and I had a promo code (CHOUZURU from Moments Like Diamonds) so I got 2 mystery gifts! ♥

I ended up getting Neo Vision Extra Dali Grey
And EOS Candy Pink

The travel case is mega cute and super convenient! ♥
I've actually started taking my lenses out with the tweezers (you can call them that, right?) without really using the travel case~ it makes it a lot easier! ♥

Mystery gift 1: Collagen eye bag remover~ I haven't tried it yet but it seems interesting (hopefully promising too?)

Mystery gift 2: These are things that keep your hair back while you're doing things, they're really funny looking but work really well!

The masks~ Cooling mask and Sake Yeast mask
Ive used the Sake Yeast one, it dripped all over >o<
I'm interested to see what the Cooling mask does~ XD
Dollywink~ The bottle is so small for being so expensive! ($11)
The polish went on really well and opaque, but chipped after a day which is normal for my nails but still!
I love you Tsubasa! But you're products are so expensive! Is it worth it?

Over all I am pleased with my purchase! ♥
I'll review the lenses by themselves in a later post ~ !

Second. Best. Face. Ever.
I love how when I take pictures of my parents, you could easily put in things they may be saying.

mother: he's doing it again, isn't he.

mother: I told him not to, really I did.
father: -inconspicuous-

Parents mocking me..

..aren't they great..?♥
